About us
Governments around the world have committed to a legally binding target of net zero emissions by 2050. We know why we need to accelerate climate action, the question is how? All industries have a part to play in this transition and the built environment is no exception. It's a significant part of the problem, but it's key to the solution. Join us as our 40+ Delivery Partners launch Build Better Now as an engaging virtual experience and events series showcasing some of the most innovative design projects from around the world and, crucially, how our buildings can be better. From climate mitigation and adaptation to natural resource use and nature-based solutions, Build Better Now will raise awareness of the environmental impact of the buildings and cities we inhabit, offer innovative and practical solutions to mitigating climate change and highlight how a more responsible and sustainable built environment is within our grasp. You can explore Build Better Now at the COP26 Built Environment Virtual Pavilion that will be hosted online from 31st October to 12th November 2021, meaning you can visit us from anywhere in the world.
